Continental Farmers Group launches an online reporting platform as part of its corporate social responsibility obligations

25 May 2020

A platform has been set up on the Continental Farmers Group official website showing detailed information in a real time mode about Company’s paid taxes and social investments in each region of its presence for the period starting 2019 and until present.

The online resource functions as an interactive map that also shows Continental Farmers Group land bank, Company’s production facilities and other assets in the five oblasts of Western Ukraine. The data regarding cash allocations are provided openly and transparently by regions and oblasts and include contact details of local agricultural holding representatives and Company’s hot line telephone number. The corporate social responsibility map also shows the levels of the destination budgets to which the tax amounts paid by the Company have been transferred and in what fields of social life of the communities the Company made its social investments as well as what cooperatives it supports.

The Continental Farmers Group is convinced that the launch of such online resource is another step towards the local communities. Using the convenient and transparent tool, each shareholder now may independently learn about Company’s activities in the territory of their region or town in the shortest time possible. The Continental Farmers Group has become the first company in Ukraine’s agricultural sector that, along with annual corporate social responsibility reports, implemented online access to the latest corporate social responsibility information.

“Open and transparent work is a foundation of reliable and long-term cooperation. We want each shareholder, representative of the local authorities or resident of the town, in which our Company operates, to have equal and permanent access to information about the funds allocated for community development and to the budgets,” Georg von Nolcken, Continental Farmers Group CEO, noted. “In such a way we strive to become close to our partners and to the people who entrusted us with their land. We aim to demolish all barriers to communication with them and become a model of a socially responsible business with a strong international investor in the Ukrainian agricultural market.”

The IT specialists of the Continental Farmers Group developed the Company’s online corporate social responsibility resource independently. Users may visit the interactive map by clicking the following link: https://map.cfg.com.ua/ or they may go to the appropriate section of the Continental Farmers Group official website: https://cfg.com.ua/. The Company will not be satisfied with what has already been achieved and the online resource would be improved on a continuous basis: for example, the Company plans adding an option to submit online applications for support of social projects as well as to request the entry into land lease agreements.
