Corporate governance system

Strong corporate governance provides transparency, visibility and accountability to our employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders on the Company’s financial and business performance. Strong corporate governance also helps ensure that the Company maintains its positive reputation to operate with highest ethical principles, complying with our legal obligations and being a valued member of the communities in which we do business.

The corporate governance system of Continental Farmers Group was established based on best international standards and practices.

The General Meeting of Shareholders is the highest governing body. The Supervisory Board, elected by the General Meeting of Shareholders, provides strategic guidance and control over management actions. For most effective oversight, there are number of Advisory Committees established and reporting to the Supervisory Board.

As the other tier of the Company’s governance system, there is Management Team, directly responsible for the Company’s day-to-day operations and profitability, and the Chief Executive Officer who reports directly to the Supervisory Board ad has responsibility to implement board decisions and initiatives, as well as to maintain the smooth operation of the firm with senior management’s assistance.
