Continental Joins the UN Global Compact in Ukraine

Continental Farmers Group has become a signatory to the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest community of responsible businesses. The company has committed to adhering to the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of environmental protection, human rights, labor relations, and anti-corruption. Continental’s official accession to this initiative took place in July 2026.

Continental Has Begun the Winter Crop Planting Campaign for the 2027 Harvest

Continental Farmers Group has deployed its first seeders to the fields to plant winter crops for the 2027 harvest. Winter rapeseed is being planted first — 32,000 hectares have been allocated for this crop in the new season. In total, the company is allocating 95,200 hectares for winter crops in 2027: in addition to rapeseed, the crop mix includes 49,900 hectares of winter wheat and 13,300 hectares of winter barley.

Continental is implementing an irrigation project at select production sites

Continental has begun implementing an irrigation investment project. This season, the irrigated area for the first phase covers 202 hectares in the south of the Ternopil region. According to the company’s plans, by 2027, this area will more than double — to 420 hectares. The construction of the irrigation system was a crucial step toward establishing highly profitable seed production. Currently, Continental is using irrigation to grow seed corn under a contract with the originator and views the project as a long-term direction for systematic business development, which in the future will allow for the cultivation of other crops as well.

The first wave of the 2026 harvest has begun at Continental Farmers Group. The total area of early-maturing grains and rapeseed to be harvested during the first wave exceeds 70,000 hectares. Specifically, Continental will harvest winter wheat from an area of 35,300 hectares, winter rapeseed from 26,500 hectares, and winter barley from 8,500 hectares.

Continental Completes Spring Planting Campaign

Continental Farmers Group has successfully completed its 2026 spring planting campaign, sowing spring crops on 110,500 hectares of its land. The Company attributes the slight increase in spring crop acreage compared to previous years to the harsh weather conditions in late fall 2025, which affected winter crop planting volumes. Consequently, in the current season, Continental is growing soybeans on 45,600 hectares, corn on 37,000 hectares, sunflowers on 22,100 hectares, potatoes on 2,100 hectares, spring wheat on 1,900 hectares, and sugar beets on 1,800 hectares, while the winter crop area covers 70,500 hectares.
