The Continental Farmers Group will hold its Field Day festivity in the Lviv Oblast
On October 8, the town of Dubliany will host the Field Day event organized by the Continental Farmers Group on the topic of “How One Is to Earn an Additional USD 100 per One Hectare: Time to Count.” For agricultural producers, farmers and agricultural workers, the event is to become a communication and experience sharing platform as well as a good opportunity to strengthen partner relations.
The Continental Farmers Group is harvesting potatoes
The Continental Farmers Group started digging up potatoes. The seed, food and chips varieties of potatoes are harvested in the Lviv and Ternopil Oblasts. The Continental Farmers Group is a major potatoes producer in Ukraine and, this season, the Company cultivated this crop in the land area of 1.8 thousand hectares. At the present time, potatoes at the 19% of the planned land area have been dug out. The valid yield of the seed varieties of potatoes is 31 tons per hectare, of the food varieties, 44 tons per hectare and of the chips varieties, 35 tons per hectare respectively. Sources at the Continental Farmers Group note that the crop yield figures significantly exceed those planned.
The Continental Farmers Group finished its harvesting campaign for winter crops
The Continental Farmers Group finished the harvesting of winter crops. During the first wave of the harvesting campaign, the agricultural company thrashed over 459.4 thousand tons of the crop yield off the 89.2 thousand hectares of land area. In particular, the Continental Farmers Group used 43.4 thousand hectares of this land area to plant winter wheat, while the actual valid yield this year is 6.20 ton per hectare. Aside from that, the Company harvested winter barley and rape. The actual valid yield of these crops is 6.23 ton per hectare and 3.43 ton per hectare respectively.
The Continental Farmers Group started sowing winter crops for the 2022 harvest
The Continental Farmers Group started sowing its winter crops for the 2022 harvest. The Company is sowing winter rape and it intends to use 35.2 thousand hectares of land for this crop. Traditionally, wheat accounts for the largest share in the winter crops structure. The Company plans to sow it on 48.6 thousand hectares of land, while another 10.3 thousand hectares are intended for winter barley. The Continental Farmers Group is planning to sow winter crops for the 2022 harvest on a total of 94.1 thousand hectares of its plowing land.
Continental Farmers Group to start harvest campaign
Continental Farmers Group has started the harvest campaign. The company started harvesting early grain, in particular - winter barley. Next, Continental will harvest winter rapeseed, wheat and rye.
Continental Farmers Group finished its spring sowing campaign
In the fields of the Continental Farmers Group, the spring sowing campaign is over. Crops have been sown in the area of 99.5 thousand hectares. The Company completed the sowing of the spring-sown cereals and green manure crops as well as the planting of potatoes.

The Continental Farmers Group announced the start of a grant competition to support the establishment of youth centers at village settlements that would be implemented as part of Company’s corporate social responsibility program.
Continental Farmers Group continues planting potatoes
A potato planting campaign gains momentum at the Continental Farmers Group. The Company began planting chips varieties of potatoes in the fields of its Vyriv Kartoplia production block located in the Lviv Oblast as well as the table varieties of potatoes in the Vasylkivtsi block in the Ternopil Oblast. The planting structure also includes the seed potatoes. As of the present day, the seeded area is 213 hectares out of 1.9 thousand hectares.
