Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Small Grants Competition to implement local projects

01 June 2026

Continental Farmers Group is now accepting applications for its Small Grants Competition to implement local social projects in rural communities where the company operates. Communities from the Ternopil, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, Chernivtsi, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions, where the Company conducts its business operations, are eligible to participate.

Over the past two years, the program has demonstrated significant results: nearly two dozen community initiatives with a total budget of over 1 million UAH have been implemented as part of the project. Successful projects include renovated school facades, new playgrounds and sports fields, refurbished bus stops, and newly created cultural and educational spaces. All projects were carried out through the joint efforts of local residents and volunteers from among the Company’s employees.

“Our competition has clearly demonstrated the importance and necessity of such investments for rural communities. After all, every hryvnia of the grant is backed by the initiative of local residents and the efforts of our volunteers, who ultimately bring about real change and new opportunities. That is why we have once again decided to increase the maximum grant amount—this time from 50,000 to 75,000 UAH per participating community. “We believe that the project will open even more doors for those proactive groups that are ready to take real action and change lives in their communities for the better,” notes Andriy Mykhailytsia, Head of the Corporate Social Responsibility Department at Continental Farmers Group.

As before, the basic requirement for participation remains mandatory co-financing of the project by the community itself. In 2026, this must amount to at least 25% of the total budget.

Grant funds are provided in the form of goods and materials, payment for transportation services, and other expenses. Project areas eligible for the competition include: rural infrastructure development (social, educational, medical, sports, and recreational), community improvement, ecology and the environment, and preservation of historical and cultural heritage.

To participate in the competition, interested initiative groups must complete the application form and send a signed and scanned copy (in PDF format) to amykhailytsia@cfg.com.ua, with the subject line “Small Grants Competition *name of settlement*.”

Applications will be accepted until June 21, 2026 (inclusive).

The actual implementation of projects in the settlements is scheduled for the period up to August 31, 2026.

Winners will be selected by a competition committee based on the results of an analysis of the submitted applications and, if necessary, visits to the communities. Projects will be evaluated based on criteria such as alignment with the defined areas of focus, relevance to the community, feasibility of implementation, focus on solving problems, and the level of local residents’ involvement.

Please note that projects of a commercial, political, or religious nature will not be considered as part of the competition.
