‘Paying all tax liabilities and doing business transparently is a pillar of support for the state and its economy, especially in difficult times. In 2024, the amount of taxes paid by Continental exceeded the previous year's figures. This shows that by increasing our production capacity, we are also increasing tax revenues to budgets of various levels. For us, the Company's growth and development are inextricably linked to the fulfilment of obligations to the state, communities and society. This approach is confirmed not only by tax payments, but also by the systematic support for our social initiatives,’ said Georg von Nolcken, CEO of Continental.

In 2024, the Company's social investments were focused on key areas, including infrastructure, medicine, culture, education and support for our defenders. Traditionally, the selection of projects for implementation and the direction of funding is determined by the community, which takes into account the most pressing needs of its locality.

Alongside the implementation of local initiatives in the communities, the Company continued to implement centralised projects. Annual corporate volunteering was integrated into the implementation of projects selected in the small grants competition. In 2024, we also continued to deliver medical bags to rural health posts and outpatient clinics and the traditional environmental and social campaign to plant honey trees, the Linden Marathon. The Company also scaled up the Smart Garden. A microgreen’ project, which reached a national level last year: more than 200 children from 20 schools in different cities of Ukraine learned entrepreneurship and socially responsible business. In addition, an educational project for children to learn English online was launched in a test mode. About 200 participants joined the pilot format. The main goal of the initiative is to develop self-education and create accessible conditions for learning a foreign language, including in rural areas. This year, the Company plans to scale the project to all regions of its presence.
