Continental has completed the 2025 potato harvest

18 November 2025

The harvesting campaign has come to an end on the potato fields of Continental Farmers Group. The harvest was carried out on an area of over 2,100 hectares in the Lviv and Ternopil regions. In particular, 1,270 hectares were harvested for chip varieties, 496 hectares for food varieties, and 356 hectares for seed varieties.

Andriy Bednarskyi, head of the Potato Cluster at Continental, noted that this year's growing season was somewhat atypical: "For our part, we ensured thorough planning, careful organization of processes, and consistently high quality of work. At the same time, the gross yield of tubers this year exceeded the planned figures by an average of 18%. Therefore, during harvesting, we had to redistribute the load on our storage facilities. The team coped successfully with all the challenges and complied with the appropriate product quality standards."

The 2025 potato harvest campaign at Continental was also special thanks to a major upgrade of specialized machinery and equipment. In particular, the newly acquired third-generation potato harvester, the most advanced in Ukraine, proved its efficiency. Overall, capital investments this season have significantly increased productivity and ensured even more careful handling of products, which is in line with Continental Farmers Group's strategic vision of modernizing production facilities and introducing best international practices into domestic agriculture.

At the same time, the Company is already actively preparing fields for next year's potato harvest: the crop will occupy a similar area in the 2026 crop rotation — about 2.1 thousand hectares. Continental is also completing the threshing of late-season grain crops.
